Kinder Bueno Cheesecake Truffles

Welcome to my third blog. For this one I thought I would change it up from Fakeaways and give you all a sweet treat...

These are a serious GAME CHANGER. They melt in your mouth and quickly become addictive, but don't worry, they're only 85 calories each! This is yet another recipe from @veryhungrygreek on Instagram, as I am her number one fan after the KFC Zinger Burger Fakeaway (recipe in my first blog).

I already know you are going to want to try this out. This is honestly the easiest dessert to make - there are only THREE ingredients! Yes - that's it! So there's no excuse for this one - it's far too good (and cheap!) to miss out on. Just look at that...

INGREDIENTS

  • 60g lightest Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 200g Kinder Bueno milk chocolate and hazelnut bars (as seen in photo)
  • 100g milk chocolate
METHOD
  1. Using a large knife chop up the Kinder bars as small as you can (this step takes a few minutes!)
  2. Mix this together with the cream cheese.
  3. Roll this mixture into 18 small balls.
  4. Place onto parchment paper and put in fridge for 30 mins to firm up.
  5. Melt the chocolate and coat each ball evenly.
  6. Place back onto parchment paper and into fridge for an hour to set and ENJOY!
TIPS
  • For an even healthier version of these, swap out the cream cheese for fat free quark.
  • You can make the truffles as big or as small as you like. Just beware - the bigger the truffle the more calories, but who cares when it's this good!
  • I also drizzle a little white chocolate over the top for extra decoration.

Here's mine...

There really isn't a better sweat treat than this. It's the perfect low(er) calorie alternative to any dessert, and considering how easy this recipe is it's a no brainer as to why this is my favourite sweet treat! It's so simple yet so delicious - you could fool anyone into thinking you're a professional with these. The perfect after dinner treat or even a little gift for someone special, and it's genuinely fun to make!
